Sandra Correira -LPC
Sandra is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and adolescents. She specializes in working with and promoting young people, including children with ADHD and other information processing disorders. Her extensive work spans in-home services, to public preschool and high school settings, where she delivers individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and support for youth with emotional challenges.
Sandra also has expertise working with adults with mood disorders like anxiety and depression, and families dealing with divorce and parenting issues. She employs many modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to empower her clients, manage challenges and build resilience.
Sandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Master’s degree in School Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and has affiliations with the National Association of School Psychologists & American Psychiatric Association.
