Kate McGrady -LPC-A
Kate is a licensed professional counselor with a passion for the outdoors. She graduated from Fairfield University with the St. Ignatius Loyola Medal - recognizing her dedication to advocacy in the community as well as for her academics. Kate has experience working with adolescence and young adults helping to create a better sense of self-identity, self-love and a positive path for the future. She spent several years working in the counseling center at a local university helping college students prepare for their future career paths, create coping skills for anxiety, work through issues related to past trauma, manage substance abuse, overcome grief, and more. In addition, Kate has previous work with clients in an adventure therapy setting and is certified in white water rafting, rock climbing and stand up paddle boarding. Kate brings her love of nature and the outdoors into the session, and is open and experienced with leading outdoor therapy sessions as well.
