Dana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker whose experience encompasses working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dana’s prior work providing in-home services to foster families, therapeutic intervention in schools, and direct practice in outpatient settings provide a rich backdrop that reinforces the therapeutic scope from which she addresses many of the challenges related to anxiety, depression, developmental and lifecycle changes, relationship struggles, peer-related issues, ADHD, and various areas of trauma.
Dana utilizes a synthesis of strength-based approach, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), family therapy and play therapy. Dana is currently pursuing extensive post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, where she integrates family and couples work to advance her clinical practice and provide consultation within a team approach. Dana is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), enabling her to foster and integrate a mind-body wellness approach into her therapy practice, utilizing techniques to strengthen the nervous system’s ability to regulate physiology and promote relaxation in times of stress.
