Life can at times be overwhelming. Finding balance and restoring our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing has never been needed more. Key Therapy is the only place you can find online yoga classes taught by a certified yoga instructor and licensed therapist. We take a unique approach and restore balance, promote healing and connect to others through mind-body yoga exercises and facilitated discussions. You will learn concrete skills such as calming the nervous system through specific yogic movements, and regulating well-being through introspection and self-awareness. In addition, we will build a supportive community offering connection and building resiliency against the many challenges of daily life. Each group session will consist of two parts: yoga practice and group process. About the Instructor: Dana Saad is a Registered Yoga Teacher and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Dana completed her yoga training at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and has pursued additional training in Trauma Informed Yoga (through Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga) and Yoga Nidra (through the iRest Institute). Her Trauma Informed Yoga classes incorporate a mindful approach to trauma processing, deep relaxation, and mind/body balancing intended to treat current symptoms related to an over active nervous system. Our emotions live in our bodies like water in a river. Without sufficient processing, the energy of trauma will be stored in our tissues and cells until it can be released. Stored trauma can lead not only to depression and anxiety, but to physical pain and progressive erosion of the body's health. To fully process trauma and live our best lives, we must address it in both the psychological and the physical self.
