Meghan Emanuelson -LPC

Meghan is a school counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor.  She has worked in secondary education as both a counselor and administrator for more than two decades.  Her work centers mostly around the magical (albeit, sometimes challenging) stages of adolescence, teen years, and young adulthood.   Using many facets of person-centered and strengths-based approaches, she works to help kids and young adults to celebrate and capitalize on their gifts and to develop the skills and confidence to effectively manage their struggles.  She believes strongly in helping clients to establish balance, minimize stressors, and to chase joy.  She has extensive experience with issues related to anxiety, school issues/avoidance, ADHD, barriers to learning, executive functioning skill development, friendship/social issues, relationship/familial conflict, self-confidence, managing/planning for transitions, self-advocacy, and more. She also loves working with parents on navigating the nuances and ever-changing landscapes of these developmental stages as well as helping divorced couples to amicably co-parent.
